Safety is important to us at AEP and is incorporated into every aspect of our training. Not only do students learn how to do things from a technical perspective, they learn how to do things from a safety perspective too. Our safety emphasis also makes it possible for students to learn to work safely on energized lines; thus, maintaining service reliability for customers.

Our mission is to prepare students to recognize and guard against the many potential hazards in this work.
